525 West Oakdale Apartments

One of the worst! From: kentstudent Date posted: 4/3/2006 Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2006   I've lived in 5 different apartments and this place was by far the worst. The management company, Horizon, is fine but the building engineer Florence makes life here unbearable. She yelled at me when I moved in and told me that had to wait a week longer to actually move in. She never cleaned my apartment before I moved in. The floors were filthy. Maintenance here is pitiful. My apartment has flooded twice. The first time was from the reservoir on the back of my toilet. It took them over 48 hours to fix it. The second time was from my dishwasher and that took them a week! A WEEK! Water was literally coming up out of the sewer for a week. They finally repaired it because I had a lawyer draft a formal complaint. Now I'm trying to sublet it to anyone who will take it but no one seems interested. Avoid this place!
