This place is probably the most reasonably priced building in the neighborhood.
The street is safe.

The building is close to the Chicago Red Line AND several buses on Marine Drive - many of which are express.

If you go west of broadway, the neighborhood can be a bit sketchy at night.

But, during the day time the neighborhood is very vibrant.

The building is very well maintained.

The manager, Carol, literally treats this building as her own.

Her maintenance team is also equally considerate and responsive.

I clogged my toilet on several occasions - each time, someone was at my apartment within 1 hour of notifying management.

There is even a Holiday party in December where management purchases food, drinks, and door prizes!
Lastly, the price is unbeatable.

I paid $780 in 2007, $785 in 2008, and I was notified rent will be $800 for a large, 1 bedroom.

Note: This price includes heat, cooking gas, AND 100 channels of digital cable.

By far, the best building I have ever lived in.

Given the professionalism, I am surprised this place is NOT charging $1000 per month.
