I will say that Algonquon was an ok experience, except that there was many a time I would come home from work and someone was in my parking spot (which I paid $100/month for). I got a lot of people towed and that was an overall pain.

My biggest problem was with the security deposit though. I made sure to keep my apt. in perfect condition and was told that I would get my deposit in the mail 45 days later as stated by Chicago law. Here it is, 90 days later, and they are still saying the check is in the mail. I instituted legal action recently, and hopefully that will work itself out, but trust me, getting back your one months rent security deposit is no easy feat with these folks. Good luck.
