Most of the opinions listed on this site seem a bit outdated. I can imagine the frustration buying a unit in this building last year when the original rehabs were beginning to take place.
That said, it seems that now, the lobby is new, there is a gym facility, and the roof has been re-designed. Electricity has been brought up to code in the building, and plumbing is replaced if you buy the Upgrade Option in your unit. The elevators and hallways will be completed when the building is 100% sold. It should not be a surprise to anyone that in this marketplace, the building is not going to sell 100% overnight.
I am content with my purchase. For a reasonable price, I have lake view and full amenities. Yes, the ongoing construction is not ideal -- but I can suck it up for a year or so. It's not as if I payed a million bucks for this building. I'd be pickier if this was a 1-bedroom in Gold Coast.
I do recommend this building to first-time homeowners. It is a great starter, and for the price (upgrade package recommended) - you get a fair deal.
