Great location. Great views if you get the right apartment. And everything is included in the price, like water, heat, light, electric, cable. What they do not tell you is that they raise the rent every year by 5%, that the staff with a couple of exceptions is very unfriendly, underpaid, unhappy in their work. and generally wish they could go home. The maintenance staff does not understand english, and cannot seem to fix the simplest of things. The rooftop garden is never open, and when it is you need to obey the rules, of which there are many at the Belden. Moving in, moving anything, is a royal pain, and throwing things out just the same. On the other hand, this is a quiet building, folks leave you alone, and if you can stand the parking problems and the cost and the uncaring attitude of many, then it is one of the best locations in the city. The building is reportedly owned by a Mrs. Greenberg, who it is said, has the attitude that if they don't like it they can leave. Many do. Few stay for long.
