I am a new resident at Belmont Harbor Apartments and I sat at the computer shocked at the last review; that review couldn't be more off base! First and foremost, I must clarify that there is no bug infestation of ANY kind. My friends consider me to be the "high maintainance" one of the group; I just have high standards, and Belmont Harbor has more than met those standards. My apartment has been fully renovated down to the restoration of the most beautiful wood trim and doors, done in a rich Cherry finish. The hardwood floors have been refinished and they SPARKLE. The Bathroom even has a beautiful glass vessel sink... you don't find those kind of touches in rental units very often. I only had two concerns when i first saw the place: 1. I needed a dish washer & 2. The stove was small and dated, and since I love to cook and entertain friends, I wanted a new stove that was full size and more appetizing. Done and done. Without hesitation they agreed to adding a dish washer and replacing the stove. Furthermore, it was not an empty promise, it was a top priority right away.

As far as the neighbors are concerned, the ones I've met have been friendly and welcoming. One especially great neighbor put a card on my door and brought over drinks to help make the unpacking process a bit more pleasurable.

Finally in regaurds to the building manager Denise... She is absolutly, positively, the best building manager I've ever had. She's friendly and fun to talk to, but more importantly she gets the job done! She clearly puts this building as her first priority, and when she says something will happen... IT DOES! (and rather quickly too!) I strongly believe that if the last reviewer had a problem with Denise, the problem had to have been him. SHe's down to earth and delightful, and the icing on the cake when it comes to this great building.

In my opinion... A move to Belmont Harbor Apartments is a move in the right direction!
