Great place to live

I have enjoyed living here for the past several years they are always
updating the units. The hardwood floors are beautiful and I don't need to
worry about adjusting my colors to match carpeting. They are upgrading the
bathroom sinks with elevated glass sinks and modern faucets. It gives you
the feeling of Old World/New World charm. There is an abundance of closet
space also. Management and maintenance are generally very easy to get in
touch with any questions or concerns that you may have about the building
and it you have a maintenance problem it is resolved in a timely matter. I
have a dog, which is usually very difficult to obtain a lease with but here
at 426 Belmont animals are accepted. I feel that they have the tenant
concerns and needs in mind; there are newly installed washers and dryers
right on the premises, plus an exercise room with modern equipment, which is
very well maintained. I am proud to have people visit me; the lobby reminds
me of an expensive hotel with its mahogany and marble. The Property Manager
Denise has always been very helpful and friendly. I have no intentions of
moving and would highly recommend this place to anyone. There are numerous
views of the City Skyline and the Lake; they even have a patio on the roof.
This has been one of the best places I have ever lived.

OK, seriously, Denise needs to stop writing these reviews. I see no one complaining of the fact that her and her son are there all hours of the night (sometimes until after midnight), watching tv, while keeping a close eye on everything you do from her little pod in the lobby. It's creepy. What is also creepy is the fact that the maintenance man, who is very nice, lives in the building. Normally this wouldn't be creepy, until you see him somewhat inebriated on weekends and realize he has keys to all of the apartments. Also, the bathroom sinks do look nice, until you use them consistently, then you realize they are not designed well and are very difficult to keep clean. If the washers, dryers, and exercise equipment is so new, how come they are always breaking down? Also, I can't remember how many times the exercise room (in the moldy basement) has been closed due to flooding. Not just a little bit of water, but complete flooding. The rooftop deck is very small when compared to most other buildings, but is nice to have. I agree that the building and people in the building are very accepting of dogs, but it gets to be a pain when the freight elevator is either broken down (often) or being used for moving. Dogs hate stairs! I wish they would update the carpets and paint in the hallways as well.

Dear Anonymous Since you seem to watch the Manager in her pod, then you know she is working, securing the building and making sure that everything is working for the residents! Since she is Managing, on site, 6 days a week from 9 to Midnight plus. The building has remained operable as well as it has! Since dogs hate stairs, why do you take them? Happy to be living at 426!
