The leasing office at this building was terrible. They lost our rent check and posted and eviction notice on the front door the next day. When they found our rent check on someone's desk later that afternoon they did not even apologize. We had two dogs. They pretend to be this super pet-friendly place and even though there was no damage to the apt, they ended up charging us over $1000 in fees for things like steam cleaning the carpets, etc.

I got an eviction notice today, too, courtesy of Dolly. I had paid my rent on time, but there had been a mix-up at my bank and she was very condescending and rude when I called her about it later. For a building that prides itself on great service, it shocks me to know that this petty loan shark behavior is a regular practice of theirs.

I LIVE IN THE BUILDING AND THE OFFICE IS SUPER PET FRIENDLY IF YOUR DOG RUINED THE APT. THEN YOU SHOULD HAVE TO PAY FOR IT.....

We lived at the Belmont House last year w/ two dogs and were also charged ~$1000 for misc. carpet cleaning. Coincidence? Perhaps this is just their way of stealing an extra grand from residents with pets. What do they do with the $400/pet "fee" that you pay up front?

I lived at the Belmont House for 3 months and they charged me excessive fees for having a pet. The fees were unfair and ridicoulous when you pay a $450 pet fee for 3 months. I have filed complaints with the Better Business Bureau and the Illinois Attorney General regarding their unfair practices. BEWARE OF THIS MANAGMENT COMPANY IF YOU HAVE A PET!!
