There are some 's and -'s about the buidling. Onsite Management (no customer service skills) -'s, Maintanence (on site but not on the job) -, neighbors (quiet) , mail delivery (never timely) -, laundry on site , kitchen (aluminum cabinets, no dish washer, cheap floors -, bathroom (small area, plumbing needs work) -,air condition (is not included in the rent $95 annual charge) -, vends (you can smell everything anyone is cooking including if your neighbor smokes - the smells) -

I'm sorry to say that you are completely wrong in almost all aspects of your review. If you talk to people who have been living in the building for the past 40 years they will tell you that the current management staff is the best that they have ever had. Any time I've had a maintenance issue it has been resolved within 24 hours of my request. Further, I don't know what mail you aren't receiving, but Mike (the mailman) has never not gotten me my mail on the day I'm supposed to receive it, nor has he ever lost any of my mail. The building was built in the 60s so yes the kitchen cabinets are very much from the 60s and this management company has only owned the building for 3 years now and is trying to make sure that the more pressing changes are being made than over-hauling every since kitchen that would then more than likely result in a rent INCREASE. In this neighborhood you can't find rents a reasonable as this building is and I for one am okay with aluminum cabinets if it means that I can live in this neighborhood without going broke every month. If anyone is reading this, let me tell you that there are great amenities to living in this building and the management and maintenance staff are fantastic, nice, agreeable individuals who will learn your name, take the time to know you and even say hi to you on the street if you see them on their day off.

Noise - you get more noise from the street than from neighbors.
Smells - there are always people who cook gross things. Should move to a single family residence for "smell" free environment.
Customer Service - Always been professional to me.
Size - Biggest place in Lakeview for the price!
I recommend this place.

Wow Anonymous, are you on the payroll. Have you lived in the building for 40 years. Just curious. I'd have to say that the posters message is a little more believable, with the exception of the mail. Although the Assistant manager is pleasant to do business with the property manager often goes the air of being to busy to address resident issues. she frequently speaks to people in an undeserving tone if they have questions beyond the short answers that she gives. For you to say the maintenance team is fantastic... that's pretty funny. I'd say maybe a couple of them actually workhard on a day in day out basis. its a great place in a great location, but its not all a bed of roses. I would recommend going in with your eyes open and if given the chance talk to some of the residents we you meet in passing if you go for a visit.
