I lived in Cobbler Square for one year. Something was always broken, whether or not it was the elevator, the laundry room, the parking garage was off limits and even the "wonderful sundeck" was closed. It seemed that things were fixed too late. The sundeck would be torn down in June, the landscaping and water fall would be turned on late spring or early summer.
The noise is the worst. You can hear everything, even the people above you going to the bathroom. It sounds like the roof would fall in. I had water leaks from the people above us too. The doorman would be asleep half the time and they charge a ridiculous amount of money if you lock yourself out of your apartment.
Don't be fooled by the "uniqueness" of the building. The rent is ridiculously over-priced and not to mention you have to pay for every utility in the book (water, trash, gas, sewer, etc. etc.)
