I lived here for a year, and loved the building. The review about it being taken over by a younger crowd is true, and in that respect made it more fun to live in. I never had a bad and/or scary experience with neighbors or disorderly people. You can hear everything around you-that is true. Just try to be considerate of your neighbors, and I'm sure they will do the same. I also had a sleeper loft, which makes it I think much louder in your bedroom than most other apartments.

About things getting stolen-well, I was lucky because I used to the do the same thing when throwing out trash, but I'm not sure how much could've gotten stolen-since the trash room doesn't seem too far from anyone. Not long enough for anyone to jump into your apartment and steal anything. I also don't think it is management's fault for her leaving her door unlocked.

The management was great, the location is absolutely fabulous. I made a real lot of friends in this building, which was great because not a lot of my other friends live in Old Town. The Old Town Pub across the street is the local hangout for residents. I still bump into people there. I only moved because I bought a great condo. My rent would've stayed the same had I not moved.

So, let me guess, you work for the management company? Let's see a person who does not live there, who was not a guest got by the security at the front, then was able to wander the hallways here, and THEN go into someone apartment - not an issue for the management. Just how sure are you that your rent wouldhave stayed the same, when I lived there, they increased it each year.
