These are apartments...not homes

Columbus Plaza wasn t always bad, but over the five years I ve lived here, I ve seen a definite change from a quiet building into a transient student dormitory. Students roam the halls during the evening/night time going from friend s apartment to friend s apartment. They re not loud just annoying if you hear them knocking on doors like on my floor (I think there are three apartments with students).
The apartments themselves are barely modern. Old kitchens. Super expensive electric heating/cooling units (nothing is free or included). The management office is wonderful, and the maintenance staff is always super. But that s about it. No frills, great views, expensive rents (when you compare the building and add up what s not included). And yeah, I agree with other reviewers with the post box outside the building: it s 5 degrees below zero in December, and we have to go outside to drop off our mail' The manager can t just ask the post office to ask the mailman to gather outgoing mail from a drop near the mailroom'
