I had a lot of problems with roaches no matter how clean my place was. Also, while neighbors were quite nice, some were noisy and a couple of them became threatening when asked to turn down the volume in the middle of the night. But the walls were thick and it was only late at night that noise was a problem. Generally I couldn't hear anything if my neighbors were talking, watching TV, or listening to music at a reasonable volume.

Some of my friends were quite uncomfortable about entering the building.

But management was nice and was responsive to major complaints, although long term solutions to the roaches and the noise seemed to be too much to expect.
