is what it could really be called! Please the management here not only pressures you for the rent wayyyyyyyyy before the first of the month like a shylock. It also does the following things:
10. No heat during the winter, like this is florida! and then tells you to buy a space heater!!!
9. Something broken in the apartment''' too bad, too sad don't expect them to fix it, oh until you move out, because of the other two reasons I've already given.
8. Can you say no doorman' bums in the doorway, strangers walking the halls, exit doors WIDE OPEN 24/7!!! forget milk.... got rats'''
7. Only four security cameras in a the whole building!!! so the bums sleeping in the hallway are safe! and pray you don't get raped on the 14th floor!
6. The water' undrinkable! stinks, no pressure in the showers, and hot water' forget it.
5. The Office staff can get nothing done, plus whatever foreign handyman they can get the cheapest bid from, are incompetient...
4. the elevators have not operated at 100 percent for over a year... meaning not wheelchair accessible.
3. Want to go to the bathroom'' unless you are smaller than a cockroach... forgetaboutit
2. Back to management, they get nothing done as well, if you have a problem with the office people, or something the office idiots can not take care, do NOT expect anything from them either! Because they will refer you back to the office idiots..
and the number one reason WHY NOT TO RENT at 1030 N Dearborn is....
1. Whether you want to stay or leave after these 9 reasons... They will still show your apartment to future renters WITHOUT giving you NOTICE WHICH IS AGAINST THE LANDLORD AGREEMENT, in other words, you better hope that they don't show your apartment when you are: a) showering, b)having sex c) at work or d) anything else!!!!!!!!

AS A SOON TO BE FORMER RESIDENT OF DEARBORN PLAZA APARTMENTS I BEG TO DIFFER WITH THE ABOVE STATEMENT. I HAVE HAD A POSITIVE EXPERIENCE IN MY 2 YEAR STAY HERE. I DID NOTE THAT THE LEASE DOES STATE THAT RENT IS DUE ON THE 1st OF THE MONTH BUT THE BILL WHICH DOES INCLUDE MY ELECTRIC USAGE KEEPS ME ON TRACK. I HAVE FOUND THE STAFF TO BE QUITE HELPFULL WITH MY REQUESTS AND PROFESSIONAL IN DEMENOR.

I live there now and I like it. I needed a new ceiling fan and a drain unclogged and each request I put in that morning before I left for work- when I came home- it was done. You have to turn the knob to turn on the radiant heat- which has always worked for me. And I'm glad of the rent reminder- so I'm not late! And when I was late twice??? They were very nice about it. Management has always been super friendly to me- as well as the nice maintenance men. I'm not sure where this user is originally from- but you sound very rude. If you treat people with respect and courtesy- they will treat you the same. I've lived there for almost 3 years now. I find all of your statements very inaccurate and it's a shame that you are allowed to bash them... sounds to me like you're bitter because you couldn't afford the rent or the upscale neighborhood in which the building is located. Sounds like you will be a pain in the ass renter- no matter where you go. Your poor landlords!
