If I could stay, I would.

Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2008
Pros: cheap, great location, great staff, quick repairs, good upkeep of the building, safe, clean, management treats everybody to a Christmas party and barbecue once a year, gives away gift cards and treats at holidays. They store your AC for you during the winter. Laundry room is well-kept, they have a book exchange, exercise machines in laundry room.
Cons: VERY small apartment. Think a dorm room, and you're about there. But it's got everything a person needs - stove, microwave, sink, fridge, bathroom. Also, my particular unit is a bit chilly in the winter - my window leaks. Also, I rarely get a nice, hot shower. Usually they are warm, but not hot. Also, you're going to have to figure something out to do with your car. Anytime anyone comes to visit, they end up paying an arm and a leg for parking.
On the whole, if I wasn't getting married and needed enough space for two people, I'd stay. It's really a very nice place.
