Upon signing a 7-month lease for approx $1,000 a month for a one-bedroom ($1200/mth with 1 month's free rent pro-rated), management indicated that I would be able to renew at the $1000 rate, which was the "true" market rate for rent. I should have gotten the agreement in writing, but I thought that a man's word and a handshake meant something more. Guess what, when we decided to renew they said that we would have to pay $1200/month even though the apartment was being offered to new tenants at the 1 month free price ($1000). When we reminded Management about the promise, they asked for it in writing and said they didnt rememeber and dont care about losing a tenant. Due to work/life time restrictions we got roped into renewing. Management has been very rude and aloof throughout lease. Trust me, ask tenant opinions before you sign a lease here. I have heard many horror stories. Desk clerks and security are nice, but the man running the show sucks. Worst management service that I have ever dealt with.
