I recently was shown an apartment at 2850 N. Sheridan and am absolutely stumped about everyone's reviews. Granted, I don't live there but the building looked fantastic. Are we talking about the same building, some facts aren't matching up here. Someone mentioned something about stained carpets, yet the units I saw all had hardwood floors' People were complaining about appliances not working, but they all looked brand new when I saw them' So are these reviews for the same building, because I really liked what I saw and would like to live there but these reviews would seriously deter me.
If these reviews aren't for the same building then please post them elsewhere. Also, the building I saw was owned by BJB, is that the same as Barry'!

I just signed a lease with them there too and I was a little concerned with the reviews BUT
1. When I went there, I asked the residents that I saw if they liked the building and the three that I asked said they loved it
2. The only people that are going to write a review are the people that are unhappy about something so this I think is a misconception of the building.
I do not know what its going to be like but it seemed like a great building and my friend lives in a BJB building on Pine Grove and loves it so I said what the hell, I am going to go for it because I really did like the building...everyone has different experiences
