Don't be fooled...
You can fall in love with the location of this place, it's great for anyone who loves Chicago. What is sad is the owners know the location is it's selling point, but they have downgraded this building quite considerably. Management here is awful, the worstā¦Ā See More >anonymous

Bad management, lots of problems
Moving out at first chance. Cockroaches, slow to do necessary repairs, gross remodel in hallways, nonunion immigrant workers have been caught stealing from residents. Stay away....ā¦Ā See More >anonymous

Now Millennium Park Plaza and Horrible
New ownership for the past year and really going down hill. Maintenance takes forever and management staff is very rude. Lots of long-term tenants are moving out in droves. Occupancy was so down they had to cut deals with university housing. Dirty hallways,ā¦Ā See More >lin404

They won't even let you SEE an apartment!
This was the most amazing thing I've ever run across in apartment hunting. I called to set up an appointment to see an apartment, they took my info and set a time fo me to come in the next day. When I gotā¦Ā See More >anonymous

Stinky Stinky Stinky
This place needs to renovate their trash system. The TRASH permeates throughout the garage, the sidewalk near the back entrance of the building, elevators, and ventilation system. Management needs to definitely upgrade the disposal area.

BJB Developers bought the building last year and they are living up to their (bad) reputation. Now called Millenium Park Plaza the only good thing about the building is its location near Millenium Park. Really terrible building to live in.
The remodeling theyā¦Ā See More >trm2002

Jaded elegance needing more than a coat of paint
Doral houses several first floor retail shops, offices on the lower floors and apartments on the higher floors. The location is great--a block from the north east corner of the Loop, a block from the new Millennium Park and next to Illinois Center. ā¦Ā See More >psinapse

Enjoyable Stay: Utilities a drain
Great location, wonderful amenities. The only down-side was the high utility bill I had to pay, because heat and electricity is not included.
The building staff was always curteous, genuine, helpful and friendly.
The gym upstairs is not awesome, but it is a lot better than otherĀ“sā¦Ā See More >anonymous

Improving
WeĀ“ve lived her a number of years and love the neighborhood and the building. Apartments are well maintained and have nice layouts and plenty of closet space. Health Club, Dry Cleaner, Salon and grocery store (with liquor and videos) add to the convenience. ā¦Ā See More >chicagorenter023

Bad Leasing office, Bad BLDG
I was wary at first when the leasing person was obnoxious and rude, but the location was ideal for me. Later as I moved in, I noticed that most of the staff are rude. Most want some tip of some sort to continueā¦Ā See More >jamesonpgp

Very Posh, but beware of certain penalties
I lived in the Doral for 14 months and loved it. ItĀ“s a 10-minute walk to all downtown attractions, and the concierge service is great. However, I had to break my lease unexpectedly and suffered some losses.

I was forced to pay the Doralā¦Ā See More >anonymous
