Loved the apt

I lived in the building for almost 4 years. The staff was very friendly - loved the front door people and management was also helpful. Only had to have maintenance come once or twice total, and they fixed the problem AND were friendly. The building seemed very safe (I was a single woman). If someone came in the back entryway, you had to call up (unless someone was stupid enough to let a stranger in) or key yourself in. If someone called your room to be let in, you could switch to a particular channel on TV to see who they were. The front door people wouldn't let you in if they didn't know you (even for my 6 months of getting to know them, they still had me key in). I had no trouble with my heating/cooling -in fact, I had the cheapest electric bill EVER - maybe it was the location or the tenants on either side helping out with my costs. Parking was expensive to me, BUT cheap for Chicago. Location was super convenient to so many things. If you live on the NE, east, or SE side of the building, you CAN get some noise from the Division streets patrons late at night. I would highly recommend this apt complex to anyone looking to live in Gold Coast.
