Cabrini Residents moved in a few weeks ago!

I found out recently that Elm Street Plaza is renting to displaced Cabrini Green residents. It would be nice if the building management could have mentioned this prior to me moving in but they didn't. One of the doormen told me that a few of the new residents have been in prison.

The doorman also stated that Elm Street advertised to accept 50 more families into the building last month.

Like I said I don't mind living in the same building but I feel that I should have known that I was living next door to a gang member.

I live with two of my daughters and we don't feel safe here any more.

Even though this entry was posted a year ago, I find it to be very distasteful. NOT everyone from Cabrini is a gang member. Maybe you should go back to the suburbs?
