I lived here from April 2004-August 2005. I wouldn't have stayed so long, but I was moving out of state in August and didn't want to move within Chicago shortly before moving again.
The management office (Planned Property) is a complete joke. No one will EVER answer their phone or respond to voicemails. The building engineer was responsive, but there is only so much he can fix on his own.
The one (out of two) elevator was broken completely from September 2004 - July 2005. Once they FINALLY got that one fixed (without so much as a word or (god forbid) a rent reduction to residents in the meantime), they shut down the other one to "do repairs" - so we were still left with only one elevator for an 11-story building. The one working elevator didn't even work all of the time (like today) and then you are stuck walking the stairs. Unfortunately for me, I live on the 10th floor and had to lug my laundry up those 10 flights of stairs today.
My air conditioner was broken for several weeks (during 90 degree days) until they finally replaced it.
Street parking in this area is a nightmare, so I took their "conveniently located" spot at one of their other buildings 2 blocks away - for $155/mo.
This place is awful and I have not had any good experiences with the property management company, aside from when I was extending my lease, of course.
