I use to live at Thornwood Apts. The office staff is unorganized and lazy. They do nothing but eat all day and give you attitude. I call with a problem and get no answers. They do not care about the residents. They apartment complex does not send out notices before entering into the apartment, you have absolutely no privacy. They knock and come in if no one answers. The mice and rodents run wild like nothing else. The Laundry room is dirty and the washers and dryers never work and they never have change in the change machine. If you loose your money they do not pay it back. They have cameras that do not work. The kids run wild and so do the parents. People sell drugs and hang out all times of night. No security that do their jobs. The doors are never working which leaves them open to the public. Kids unrinate in the hallways and staircases. The elevators and hallways are always dirty. Its not safe to park in the parking lots. Peoples cars are always getting broken into. The only time they keep it clean and try to get things together is during HUD inspections and they send you out a notice a week before letting you know to clean and they come in putting things together to pass inspection and after that everything is back to normal. FUNKY and NASTY. I am glad I moved away from their into a clean place with no problems and I pray they fire the girls in the office and get things organized.
They have no respect for you and they are not caring. Its not safe for the kids to go to the park and they scream at the kids if they are riding their bikes around the park. I hate this place and I do not recommend anyone living here.
