Where do I start; ROACHES, LOTS OF THEM! RATS;EVERYWHERE! MANAGEMENT CLAIMS TO BE ACTIVE IN ELIMINATING TRADITIONALY DEVISIVE COMMUNIAL ELEMENTS. BUT HAVE PROVEN WHOEFULLY UNDERQUALIFIED! PARKING SUCKS AND SECURITY SUCKS. MAINTENENCE PERSONNEL PATRONIZE THE FEMALE TENANTS INEXCHANGE FOR SEXUAL FAVORS. WITH THE INFLUX OF SECTION 8 TENANTS THE RATIO OF MIDDLE CLASS RESIDENTS TO THESE PEOPLE IS OUT OF BALANCE, PORTENDING A POTENTIAL POWDERKEG OF VIOLENCE AND OTHER TRADITIONAL IDENTIFIERS OF A SOCIALY DEPLETE COMMUNITY. THIS PLACE IS NOT READY FOR THE UPWARDLY MOBILE CHICAGOAN.

Based on its location and current trend and gentrification of area, I would hold out for another two years and watch the section 8 recipients slowly get pushed further south east. Keep in mind, section 8 still has abide by FMR established by HUD therefore once rent rises for that particular area they will no longer be able to afford even with a voucher. Unfortunately this would also mean that you would apparently not be able to afford it either.
