1.

If you are Comcast Internet fans, hate AT&T internet.

DON'T move in, because AT&T is the only one internet provider.

Comcast don't want to inverst money for change the cable in their building.
2.

If you come late from work, DON'T MOVE IN! Waive the security, talking the parking lot, if you come late everyday, don't hope you can find a parking.

for the case of the parking lot at north, there are aproximately 290 parking sharing between 2 building, 300 units in each building, if one car per unit, that mean 600 car per 290 parking, and some unit may has more than 1 car.......
3.

If you love the Kitchen, you like to cook at home, DON'T MOVE IN! No Exhaust fan, there is only a very small hole in the kitchen, whenever you try to make a stir fry, a steak skillet, a pan fry....

the smoke detector will sound.

What do the stove can cook, just water!

More.

4.Laundry, the washer are older than my granfather, my dirty cloths may cleaner than the washer.

Move in, you'll be fine. There are lots of international students that live here too, so I think you will like that.

If you are new to this country, avoid Illinois. Its pay for play politics have caused it to be sold to industrial polluters. The air is so foul, you'll get daily headaches and tiredness, and eventually breathing problems (& possibly cancer). If you're new to Illinois, avoid Chicago. It's the worst in this regard. If you're new to Chicago, avoid the south side. It's known for its crime. Pollution is also particularly bad, since politicians are easy to sell out the poorest neighborhoods to polluters. Just some words of wisdom from a long-time Chicago area resident looking to get out.

Dear Resident, ItÂ?s true that the parking lots at Lake Meadows are on a first come first serve bases. Also we understand that there are some parking lots closer to specific buildings but as a convenience to you there are no restrictions for other lots you are allowed to park in. Please call your Building Manager for details. If you cannot find parking in the lot nearest your building there are others to choose from, outside of the parking lots there is plenty of street parking that does not require any permit and is convenient as well. We are also working diligently to provide enhance the technology systems at the property. Stay tuned for details. If you have any questions, comments, and concerns please do not hesitate to contact your Building Manager. Sincerely, Lake Meadows Management
