Better think twice before you move to LM

If you just want a place to crash, it's ok.

But honestly I'm very disappointed and like so many others here, I will not be renewing my lease.

When you move in, you get an apartment that is freshly painted (won't look anything like the pics in their ads though), but that has neither a dishwasher nor air conditioning, and that has a very iffy old radiator heating system (either your place will be way too hot or freezing in the winter, depending on the apartment you get).

The buildings are not secure at all and anyone can follow you or someone else in, which is pretty scary.

Draper and Kramer, the property owners, skimp big time on maintenance in order to save money and boost their profits, so don't be surprised when you find stuff like the carpet in the hall being real dirty because they have it cleaned so infrequently.

People are constantly moving in and out of here, so it's not uncommon to have to deal with paint fumes and noise from an adjoining unit when they prepare it for the next victim to move in.

There is a Jewel grocery store in the area (although I think this might be the official "Ghetto Jewel") and also a Walgreen's.

But that's it.

You will have to travel to another neighborhood to find a gym, a restaurant, a bar, a movie theater, etc.

The grass outside is green (literally), but don't let that fool you into thinking that they pay the same attention to everything else.

I wish they would tell these dipshit maintenance people not to work on the empty apartments at 7 a.m. on a Saturday morning and then sit on their asses and stand around all day during regular weekday 9 to 5 hours.
