I wish management would do something SOON!

I have lived here close to 6 years and over the last couple of years, the building has declined substantially, so I cannot recommend it at this time. My lease is up in the fall and I am not sure whether to stay. The Streeter is opening and looking like a possibility unless something is done soon and drastically to improve the quality of this building. The building underwent improvements over time, but lately I can't even see it being maintained, with the exception of new carpet and paint in the common areas. Too little too late! It is such a shame to see this happen, because I really liked it here.

Windows not washed in a year or more. They used to be washed every 3 months.

Today.....I see a notifce saying that the pool has new hours. This building has hired out a pool management company and we are suppose to be thankful that the hours are extened to 9 p.m. every day. The Pool was cracked and we were without a pool for 3 weekends this year. Past years.....sporadic closures due to lack of lifeguard or other reasons which nobody was told....we pay rent for this!!!!!! Also the whirlpool spa only works part of the time....if that. Why is this happening'''''''

Air conditioners that don't cool, but cost a fortune to run. They used to recondition them each year. NOT anymore.

Luke warm water for 2 months this winter.

No hot water for 3 days this winter with no accomodations. I had to go to a friends apartment for 2 days and check into a hotel for the 3rd day. Management was unresponsive.

Elevators out of service the majority of the time with no notices indicating when they will be fixed. They are just shut down.

General decline in building quality.

Management won't accept or return phone calls. The least they could do is give us updates every day or 2 like we used to get, but that appears to much to ask.

Laundry room clean sometimes, but not updated. Old washer and dryers which don't work half the time and you are referred to the company that owns them for refunds. There was a period when the laundry wasn't working for 7-10 days, because the card reader was broken. Come on management and help us out!!!!!!

No compensation for the problems.....just a note saying thank you for your "patients" and yes that is how it was spelled.

I have seen Patty/Patsy the manager berate tenants in the lobby and get downright mean. Jeez.... we could use a manager that is a "people person" and also cares about the property. I don't think she lives on the premises, which is a real detriment to this building. If this is not her home then she doesn't appreciate the fact that it is other people's homes, thus it is only about cutting costs. What a shame and it is obvious.

Doorman are fantastic yet I feel bad for them because they take the brunt of complaints about Patty or Patsy''

I can't imagine that New Frontier Management/Pacific Coast Management is aware of this, since I found out that they have managed the building for years. Why all the sudden the decline in the last few years. I hope they will take more of an interest in what's going on at Lake Shore Plaza before the fall.

I do hope that Pacific coast management responds to my review with actions and not words stating " how wonderful it is to live here and how wrong I am." Get management that cares about this property....PLEASE!

I will update this review in a few months and let you know whether changes were made and If I stay or move.

Thank you. I was beginning to think that I was the only one who felt this way. I hope that the management company read these reviews and gets rid of Patty. She is so horrible.
