I don't know where to begin with this place I once called home. I will say I totally agree with the last person who posted here. All of that is true and more! To begin with the Management of this building, especially Patty is horrible. She is by no means a people person and should not be in a position where she has to deal with them. She is rude, has an attitude with the residents she doesn't care for, and always thinks she's right! Who ever chose this woman to manage LakeShore Plaza should probably re-consider as she is not the best person for the job. You might consider Simona, who does get things done. She is a much friendlier person and deals with the residents in a respectful manor. The door staff are probably the best part of this building... they are friendly, courteous, and attentive. Maybe Patty should take lessons from them, rather then ridiculing them. I always felt safe with the door staff.
If you are considering living here you should know that this is a subsidized building, which the leasing office isn't legally bound to tell you. You will encounter all that comes along with that classification. I had many issues in this building; I'll only mention a few. Vandalism on my floor, loud music, slamming doors, screaming and yelling, pot smoking, The elevator (s) always out of order and so many others. I realize this isn't a morgue; therefore it won't be dead silent, but the noise, if any should be at a level so not to disturb other residents. This is what is written into the lease. It is OBVIOUSLY not enforced. People that live in this building just don't respect their surroundings which leads to all of what has been mentioned in this review and others.
I could go on for hours and days about the negatives of this building. This having been my 1st apt. downtown, I was VERY DISAPPOINTED. I've rented for many years and in different places, this by far was my worst experience. I am glad to NO LONGER call this home!
You should seriously consider these reviews before YOU choose to call this home! Renter beware!!!!
