please please heed the warnings - this place is truly terrible. the only saving grace is that there are no insects/rodents in the building (except for the management, which is only there from 9:30-4 on weekdays) and that the doormen are absolutely fantastic. however:

1 - laundry stolen out of the basement (I got there 14 minutes after my dryer cycle ended
2 - smokers lived all around me and the management's solution was to put up "No Smoking" signs. not surprisingly, there was no change in behavior.
3 - as i am allergic to smoke, i was forced to move apartments, pay a higher rent, and live with a lease that ended 2 months earlier than the original lease. and management helped with exactly NONE of it. in fact, they told me that they freight elevators were "booked" during the only times i could move (i used the regular elevators and had no problem).
4 - i never received notices about FedEx packages that were sent to me for my birthday. i found out about it after a couple months, when friends asked me why i hadn't acknowledged their gifts.
5 - pets are apparently only allowed if they are seeing-eye dogs. yet you will regularly see cats, dobermans, poodles, bulldogs, etc. in the elevators with you. now i've never seen a seeing-eye cat before, and refuse to believe that 10 of them live in LSP!

all in all, this place is terrible. i have traditionally believed that you can find "steals and deals" if you look hard enough - THIS IS NOT ONE OF THEM! you will get less than what you pay for (which is hard to believe since rent at LSP is lower than everywhere else around!)

The rent is cheap for a reason! You pay for the rude staff! Those bastards should have lost their jobs agas ago!
