i hate to see any negative comments about this place, because the lofts are truly a great deal. the comments about the manager are absurd - he's very nice and reasonable. always responded to maintenance requests within 24 hrs. the building is well kept; the price is reasonable for what you get; the neighbourhood is relatively safe - it's mainly the super trendy lofts and condos, or super expensive restaurants and lounges/clubs - or some obscure warehouses; there is always parking along the streets should you choose not to pay for the garage or lot; the lofts are pretty unique - the tall ceilings are great - although the rest of the stuff in the lofts is pretty generic; the manager has all these special touches, like the monthly newsletter and the rooftop deck summer party; they allow cats here; the have a dry cleaning service and laundry is only 75 cents; they hold or deliver your packages for you. the only negative thing i have to say about this place is noise. if you are a sensitive sleeper - you probably won't be able to live here. it didn't bother me because i work a lot and when i sleep, i pretty much pass out. but the train outside is really pretty loud, and the nightclub across the street get very noisy on the nights that it's open. all in all, if i didn't have to move to another city, i would have definitely renewed.
