I lived here from May 2003 - May 2004. I loved the apartment and for the price, it was the best deal in the area (at that time). The apartment itself was great and I rarely ever heard any outside noise.

My problems started in December. I had a constantly clogged kitchen faucet - there was such poor water quality that the faucet would get clogged with dirt and debris from the water. Maintenance virtually refused to actually fix the problem. They just removed the dirt and debris so the water would flow, instead of correcting the problem.

Parking is next to impossible. I was on the waiting list for a parking space for my ENTIRE lease. The leasing office should warn potential tenants that they may never make it off the waiting list.

For 6 months of my stay here, the tenants were subject to the renovation of the elevators. Of the 3 main elevators, only 2 would be available and they would be so packed with people that often you'd have to wait for 10 minutes or more for an available elevator.

In April 2004, the water pipe burst on my floor, across from my apartment. I came home to a busted wall with water and vapors spraying onto the carpet. The smell filled my apartment. Management said they would "take care of the problem." Hmmm...their solution was to stop the spraying water but the wall was never patched up.

When it was time to renew my lease, they attempted to raise my rent by 10% and they started to make tenants pay for gas and heat.

I wouldn't recommend this building to my worst enemies.
