I lived here about two years ago and concur with the previous renter's comments about the airconditioning. It was unbearable even in March when the temperature hovered around the sixty degree mark. You cannot open any windows and the ridiculous six inch retractable gratings at the base of the windows do nothing to ventilate the room-I lived in a studio. Also, beware of the old fashioned 4 pronged outlets in the apartments and the added, undisclosed expense of having to pay for your intercom hookup to your apartment, and the constantly escalating heat, air, water and trash bills which the tenant will incur even if he or she shuts everything off and stays away for a week or so! You can do better somewhere else for the money; so don't be hoodwinked by a bunch of charlatans at Charles E. Smith properties...............
