I cannot recommend these apartments unless you have so much money that you are willing to look past countless downsides to live right in the Medical District. The summer has air conditioning issues, and the winter has heating issues, both of which should be considered fairly essential for the $1000 rent tenants are paying. Laundry machines malfunctioning, inflated parking costs, untimely repairs and unresponsive corporate/management personnel make it a complete rip-off. The only upsides to this building are convenience, safety, and quiet - the walls are concrete and they insulate well. Speaking of insulation, the windows bleed air so not only are you paying $1000 for rent, but your utilities are variable $30-100 and throw in no internet/cable (ONLY Comcast/AT&T, if you want dish you MUST live on south-facing side) and you're looking at $100-200 in extra costs per month. Before you rent here, seriously consider how important it is to have AC/Heat for extended periods of time, along with hot water, because these are complaints that have been going on for years and don't get corrected.
