So horrible, moving before lease is up

I wish to give a fair review for MPP, as I know from having to find an apartment, having a fair review can be very helpful.

First of all, MPP, isn't *all* that bad. There are a few good things. Despite what some people have said, the front desk people are some of the nicest people I have met, they know me by my first name, and always have my packages ready for me when I get home. Also, the parking garage staff is superb, making sure my vehicle is ready each morning for work, and always sharing a nice conversation.

Now for some bad things. The management honestly is horrible. If you goto the management office, the people are just plain mean. They seem almost elitist in a way. The leasing office is alright, though they seem to suffer a bit from being understaffed.

It is ridulous about the new internet agreement. Thankfully I have DSL, so I didn't have to worry about it, but the new user agreement was ridulous. It included things like:

*not e-mailing, messaging, or communicating in any way any type of derogatory information(so no jokes or anything)
*no computer gaming online
*no sending programs or code(I happen to be a programmer...)
*no P2P programs
*And the funniest of all, no sending messages so fast, that the other users scroll bar grows so quickly that the receiving user cannot receive messages.

Another thing was my electric bills were no where close to what they said. In the summer,my bills were 200-300 dollars a month for electricity. Granted, I run a few computers, but it still seemed outrageous.

Also, I found out we were being kicked out of our apartment, because they want to remodel it(to make it smaller). So we either had the option of moving to a new room within the complex, or finding somewhere else. To be honest, we had planned on staying in the same place, and just moving up from a one bedroom, to a two bedroom style apartment, but after having to deal with everything we decided it is just too much to hassle, and that MPP did not deserve our service.

So we therefore decided we are moving to MDA. MDA has a much friendlier staff and a livlier atmosphere, and In fact, we are moving a month before our lease is done, just because we are so sick of this place.

Like I said though, I wish to remain fair. This place is definitely livable, you just have to put up with alot of hassle. If I were to choose again, I would choose somewhere else personally.
