It's really hard to imagine how bad this building is. First, management is terrible in a way that makes it all but inevitable that some enterprising tenant will sue them into oblivion sooner or later. Here are some easy bases of lawsuits: a) constent contractual breaches ranging from failure to take care of routine maintenance to changing Internet providers from broadband professionals to some loser who lives in the building where the service is about as fast as dial up, b) employees of management have been caught breaking into tenant's apartments, c) constantly failing elevators (tenants are getting stuck, no exageration, about once per week - nothing quite like being trapped in an elevator) and d) failure to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (turning off all elevators to floors violating the requirement that access be available to all floors for those who use wheelchairs - obviously a failure when you have to use stairs to get to your own apartment). I'm embarrassed to tell people I live in this dump at this point and am counting down the days until I escape. I miss prior management very badly.
