I have lived on the 33rd floor of the Millennium Park Plaza building for about three years. While that was very annoying at the begining, the construction is over! When I moved into MPP a few years ago there wasn't that much around....but that has changed. Behind the building is Tavern at the Park...a new bar and restaurant. I also like the Gage, Emerald Loop and Park Grill....all 2 blocks away. It's always easy to jump on the "L" across the street or grab a cab to ride up to Lincoln Park or Wrigley. Midway is super easy to get to on the Orange Line too...I fly a lot for work. Most everything is a short walk away...which is the main reason I live here. I don't want to walk 4 blocks to get the "L" or to grab a cab...the winters are freezing here! :( There's a lot of apartments in this area to look at but MPP is definetly worth checking out.

Ha! This is interesting! This person must represent the 1% of the tenants that like it here. Everyone is moving out, go figure. But then again they 'defiantly' say it's worth checking out. A Freudian slip maybe? Go ahead and correct it. This building is all about nothing.

I wrote a little bit about it on my wife's real estate blog -- http://www.erandolph.com/millenium-park-plaza-151-north-mic . It seems odd all the retail moved out in the last several months. Will be interesting if the planned little sliver building ever gets started (on top of the La Strada entrance.)

I used to really love it here. But things have started changing in the last two years. I'm beginning to wonder if they're intentionally infuriating current tenants to force us to leave so they can pursue their plans to create a super "luxury" apartment building. The property manager talks about it with an enthusiasm that borders on insanity. That's why they pushed out the ground floor retailers, because in their "luxury" plans they think they can bring in high end retailers...such as jewelry shops, clothes, etc. Umm...right! Those spaces are still empty and it's been two years! We used to have a good grocery store in the building, but those poor guys who ran that place got pushed out. So you can run out in the freezing cold up the street to Bockwinkels to get milk. But hey...I'll be able to buy gold earrings in my pajamas within the building now.
