As other reviewers said...the location is fantastic. But that's where the good rating ends. For the amount you pay one would hope for something that equals that price. My first year here went well, but increasingly the problems are mounting and the service is getting worse. The Property Manager, Terry, is completely incompetent. If she makes a verbal agreement with you about terms of your lease, then get it in writing! She will agree with you on something one day, and then the next she'll claim these terms were never discussed. She's unbelievably frustrating. I really don't know how she keeps her job. Also within the past two years they've brought in this third party called DeNovo to run the internet and manage the phone room. DeNovo are basically extortionists. They won't let AT&T come into the building to connect your phone service. Instead you have to pay them 75 bucks to do it...in addition to the start up fees you paid AT&T. And if you don't pay them or don't agree with the terms of this extortion, then they disconnect your phone and internet, eventhough you're still paying AT&T for your phone service. Frankly I wonder if this whole thing is even legal. Also there has been an increasing problem with various smells in the building. Cooking and cigarette smell that invades your apartment. I don't smoke, but if you walked into my apartment you would think otherwise. I feel like I live in a bar. Other people who have come to visit have also encountered the smell and found it intolerable. I've never lived anywhere before that's had this kind of trouble with odors. The Property manager and maintenance say there's nothing they can do about it. The manager even told me I have a nasal problem...and said the only solution is for me to move out. So this is the kind of service you can expect if you live here.
