Reasonable Place to Live

Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2007
I have lived at One East Delaware for one year on the 29th floor. The apartments are clean and bright. I had no maintenance issues, but interacted several times with building management--of both the old company (Archstone) and the new company (Waterton). Both groups were accommodating and friendly. I use the parking garage stairs and elevators daily and have never encountered a vagrant (one of the other reviews) or the smell of urine. The elevators were terrible for awhile, but now 2 out of 4 have been replaced, the third one is in progress and the fourth will start immediately after. The gym is actually pretty nice. In fact, there were only two things I disliked: no in-unit washer and dryers and you can't access the parking garage from the resident elevators. The new company is apparently renovating some of the units so look for prices to increase. All in all I would recommend the building.
