These apartments can't be fixed...

This is in a totally sweet location, and some of the apartments that I've seen are kind of old and charming in an antique sort of way, but this building hasn't been updated properly in a century! I lived here for a month before I decided I couldn't take it anymore. Our electric for an entire two bedroom apartment was all on ONE BREAKER...that's right, our fridge, TV, microwave, computer, and whatever else you need to plug in were all on the same breaker, that's one litte switch in the fuse box. Needless to say, we were lukcy to only have to run down the stairs into the next building to turn our electric on once a day, that is if we decided to make coffee and forgot to unplug the fridge or something. If we used our microwave (bought in 2002) we would have to unplug EVERYTHING and our lights would still dim! Also, there's one electric outlet (two sockets) in each room, so make sure to have a few extension cords.
The tub...not one day did I not have to take a shower standing in 6 inches of my wife's shower water. Management did come out multiple times to fix this, but the pipes in the building are so old, there's nothing they can really do.
To be fair, management had no problem giving me back my full security deposit (with interest) when I told them why I wanted to move out. I would guess in a few year when they can't rent this place out anymore, they'll gut it and rent it out for at least twice what they're charging now.
