Not worth the price

We moved into this apartment because of its good location and what we thought is a good place to live. The price was reasonable (which has since gone up without any dramatic improvement to the building.) The gym and pool amenity are great, considered that it is shared with the hotel next door. The business center is somewhat lacking, the printer rarely has paper in it and the internet connection is down every other day. The lobby area and the amenity floor looked great, but the hall way is drabby. The ground floor where the dry cleaner and parcel pick ups is smelly, dirty and dingy.
The kitchen is rather small and claustrophobic so don't plan on cooking too much in there. For the 2 bed room unit there is a washer and dryer, but you might as well not use it. The dryer, does not have an air vent, so the hot air goes up to the ceiling, causing the plaster to crack around the entrance area. It is rather embarrasing when you have guests over. The managing staff has no idea about most problem with the building. Some even said that it is normal for the dryer to operate that way. The maintenance people are good when they came, but how many days are you going to take off work to wait for them. They patch things up here and there but never really "fix" anything.
