We moved to an aprtment in Presidential Towers on 27th Apr 2007. The bathroom floor in the apartment was not clean and the dishwasher soap dispenser was not working. It took the management four days to take a note of the complaint and respond. The problems were not resolved. The management asked us to use our 30 day guarantee which states that the tenant can leave the apartment within 30 days of taking possesion, if they are not satisfied. It is a usual practice that if you use the 30 day guarantee, the management refunds the unused rent. The same has been mentioned in Presidential Tower's guarantee statement also. Howevever the management refuses to return the unused rent. We have moved to another apartment on 20 th May, 2007.
Your Desired Resolution: We got unfair, rude treatment from the management. We were never treated respectfully. The whole experience has been traumatic for us. We have also suffered financially. The least the Presidential Management and Habitat company need to do is return our unused rent.
Any ideas on how we get our money back'

it takes 45 days for them to return your security deposit, so maybe thats the same law for unused rent.
