My family is staying at PT through Habitat Co for two months while in-between homes. PT's reputation, amenities, and excellent health club are what attracted us to stay here. The amenities within the building and in the Loop have been great. And there are 'subtle' perks that become pronounced advantages when compared with other buildings, such as the express elevators. Still, there can be a marked lack of courtesy and responsiveness by the management and/or staff to issues that have come up. On more than one occasion, some of the management/desk staff have even appeared insulted at being asked to follow-up on unresolved matters. And the issues that have come up (there are not many, but they have been substantial for us) have not been resolved effectively or promptly. Aside from this aspect (issue resolution) of living at PT, many of the staff are friendly and courteous. The building lobbies and halls are bright and lovely with small gardens and fountains tended to regularly. The room itself is very basic but clean and bright, and well-tended by the staff (as required weekly for long-term guests). Consider your goals before moving in: for amenities, it's tops. Beyond that, PT shows some serious signs of strain in providing the excellence it seems to be aiming for, particularly in guest relations.

Totally agree with this review - they just need to work on the service and attitude of the staff.
