I am so shocked to be reading all this. I have lived at PT for a year and a half and absolutely love it! I actually just had a friend move to the city and recommended that they move here as well. (which they did) I originally rented through the old managment company and now my friend rented with the new managment company. I had no problems with either and now have seen nothing but the new company (Waterton) improving things. It is so convenient and close to work for me. For the sheer size of this community (alost 2400 apartments) I think that it is well managed and taken care of. I wanted to share a positive story about the place that I call home and urge you to make your own decision. It seams that sites such as these always get the couple bad apples or people with bad experiences and never anything pleasant to say. No, I don't work for the managment company as so many people like to say whenever they see something good. I also am not afraid to show my screen name like so many others on here. YOu are still staying there that's why things are fine. Try changing the apartment or find out how it works when you move out. All the best !

Hmm... Are you aware that Waterton is planning on remodeling the lobby and removing access to the shops from the apartments? So, on those cold winter mornings when you just want to get a gallon of milk, you will have to go outside and around the corner just to come back into the same building!! But yet the management company still uses the access you have to the shops as a selling point. Not illegal but I would argue quite fraudulent. Are you aware of the unannounced increase in the cost of laundry and of the unannounced reprogramming of the dryers to eliminate the ability to add partial time increments at a reduced cost? Are you aware that complaints with the Better Business Bureau have increased by a factor of ten since Waterton took over management of the property? Did you not receive the letter from management regarding all of the recent robberies? Robberies that they are blaming on the tenants irresponsibility. However, less than one week before this letter was sent out, I attempted to report to security a situation which involved a non-resident randomly knocking and attempting to open doors on my floor. SECURITY DID NOTHING!! The security guard with whom I spoke was incredibly rude and confrontational. ----------------------------------------------------------- I could go on for pages but I won???t. If you truly have lived here for any length of time and are not management, then how could you possibly be unaware of the problems with Waterton? I have lived here for eight years and know a lot of long term tenants. Not one of them is planning on renewing their lease, me included. Nearly all of them have had some sort of problem with Waterton.

If I were your friend I'd dump your a$$ for inviting me into a bedbug, disgusting, horrific, God awful, nasty apt complex ridden with people from a specific country cooking their nasty food. This place should be burned down.

I guess I understand why you are writing reviews as "anonymous". Chicago is one of our countries best cities and is no place for a racist like yourself. If you are to unintelligent to live in a world of diversity then maybe you should move out of this beautifully diverse city.
