I'm leaving From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 5/30/2008 Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2008   This apartment building has two great aspects - the tolerance of dogs, and the amazing views. Other than that, I would stay away. The door men are so rude, both to residents and guests. They also have a hard time watching the door. A neighbor of mine has a restraining order against her ex-boyfriend, and the doormen have let him upstairs to her apartment numerous times. They refused to stop until they were threatened with repercussions from the Chicago Police. What is the point of paying for door men that can not stop criminals from entering the building'' The balcony is infested with spiders from July to December - HUGE fast spiders. Eww. The space is limited and I can hear every conversation my neighbors have. That is, however, almost the only interaction I have with fellow residents. There seems to be a rule here that no one wants to speak to anyone else. Very strange, and at times eerie. The management office is always full of employees, but yet they act like you are a huge waste of time whenever you ask for assistance or give a comment. They like to roll their eyes and add in little sarcastic comments which they think others can't notice.
