This is a wonderful building to live in-- lived here about a year. I love my River view, the floor-to-ceiling windows, spacious balcony, myriad of included amenities and on-the-ball, responsive staff.

Being transferred out of state for work and as I am searching for apartments in the city I am moving to, it occurs to me how spoiled you can get living here! As I write this review, the current recommendation rating stands at 64%, but I really think that of all the people I've ever met in the building (all who have loved it)- probably no one thinks to write a positive review... so take the 64% with a grain of salt. I think if you asked EVERYONE to write a review, it would come out in the mid to high 90%'s... Granted, not everything is perfect-- I've smelled meatloaf/ other random disgusting meals of flesh cooking (through the vents) more times than I care to think about- but even as a vegetarian, in the realm of things that actually contribute to liking/ disliking a place-- smelling other people's meals waftig through the vents is probably the most minutely negative thing I can think of! Don't hesitate to move here!

We moved to North Harbor Tower in '05 and in hindsight after visiting friends in Shoreham, the extra $100 or $200 per month would definitely have been worth it.. Although I haven't lived there, I agree the building's a gem! Not sure how it compares to the Tides, but they must be very similar... www.WindyChat.com/new-eastside
