The property is nestled in a great location between Willow and North Ave on Dayton and has easy access to #8 Halsted, Red Line, #72 North, and is a short walk to Armitage brown line stop. Other than location, don't expect much. The units are modern construction utilizing cheap materials in poor condition. The cupboards have shelfs made of 1/8" fiber board and sag terribly in the middle. Upon move in, the property manager would only make minimal changes. The fact that our glasses could not stand up straight in the cupboard was not her concern. Maintenance staff is very friendly and they do good work but are constrained by the management's horrible decisions. Our apartment door was severely cracked in the middle and they ended replacing it and the property manager blamed us for the damage saying we must have had a shoe behind the door and made us feel like it was our fault and that shoe behind the door was possible to crack a 1.5" thick wooden door. The maintenance crew stated that you would have to be an NFL linebacker to break this door and they were just old and need of replacement anyways (they replaced several doors on the property). Every year we renew the company has promised to clean the carpets yet getting them to come through on this promise has been like pulling teeth. Whenever you have an issue your always treated as if its your fault and how terribly inconvenient it is that you should dare bother them with your petty concern. Have always paid my bills on time (automatic check). Its not a bad place to live if you never need to step a foot into their office or call them with a concern.
