09/10/14 by Verified Resident: I picked this apartment because of its proximity to the University of Chicago, where I am a graduate student, the fact that it is a high rise (which is not the easiest to find close to campus, as most apartments are walk-ups), and the fact that I felt safe in its surrounding areas. more

09/15/14 by Verified Resident: All good.Amenities are good, staff is responsive, maintenance is especially good. The biggest problem with the building is the noise level. Most of his can be attributed to a major hospital close by, and the numerous ambulances that drive by. more

It wass a bless have found this place and allow me a short leasing, even better that is just in front where I took my classes, in winter with all the cold, wind and snow was a really advantage. more

10/01/14 by Verified Resident: Great building, fair rent, great location. Staff is attentive and nice. Very convenient to grocery stores, laundry in building. The kitchens are particularly great - spacious and well constructed. Even with three people in a 950 sq ft 2 BR, it's easy to keep uncluttered and feels spacious, because the closets are also really well done and each apt. comes with a basement storage unit. more

09/10/14 by Verified Resident: Beautiful new apartment building. The reason we selected the K2 building is the feeling you get when you walk inside. The residents are young and full of energy. The view from our apartment is stunning to say the least. Everyone loves to visit us. more

09/22/14 by Verified Resident: safe and clean neighborhood. I would say in general everything is good. I like the library that NHT provides. But because of its design. The library is not as quiet as it should be. I would highly recommend make the library a quiet place that is really good for reading and studying. Thanks. more

02/27/14 by kejohn5: One word: GREAT! From the doormen to the office staff with 353 Desplaines, LLC; maintenance staff to the building itself, we loved it all. You cannot beat the location either! Across the street from Jewel and Chase? Essentials in my book! I would hop off the blue line and grab items for dinner on my way home. Bonus: They are actually rennovating all of the floor hallways (new more

09/24/14 by Verified Resident: Staff has been friendly, move in was easy, maintenance requests are promptly answered, and the location is world class and could not be improved upon. Sidewalk cafes abound. Five coffee shops within a block. Grocery store in the building. It doesn't get any better as to location. more

09/08/14 by Verified Resident: Good living space, friendly staff. Groceries became a little bit inconvenient especially in Winter since closure of Bockwinkels right across the street, 3 groceries around (Whole Foods, Trader Joes, Potash brothers), all 4-5 blocks away more
