During the year I was with Village Apartments, the management changed hands countless times, the pet policy was unclear (ok for some, not ok for others to have pets), and only one of the three maintenance men actually did his job. The light bulb to my entrance of the building was out for 2 months before it was changed, even after multiple maintenance requests. The security light at my end of a very dark parking lot flickered and went out very often. The neighbors were busybodies who called the police when I was sitting outside at the picnic table on more than one occassion. One of the former managers went so far as to disclose confidential mental health information about one of the tenants to another tenant when I was living there. She told the same tenant that she would do everything in her power to have me evicted, which proved more difficult than she thought because I always paid my rent on time and followed the rules. I was also frequently blamed for a neighbors' parties and trash. After my yearly financial review to determine rent, mine was raised from $369 to $520 for a mediocre one-bedroom apartment with less-than satisfactory management and a very elusive maintenance man. After moving out more than 3 months ago, I still have not received my security deposit back. All in all, I would say that did not have a positive experience with this facility, would you'
