Overall, this is a nice place to live. I never had any problems with the management staff (Dru & Sis); they were always good to me. Infact, they even upgraded my kitchen with new cabinets and a dishwasher. They are EXCELLENT when it comes to receiving parcel packages. The maintenace staff was always great and responded quickly. The grounds were nicely manicured. Parking was great and heating and a/c were very good. The owner visits at least once a year...nice guy. The apartments include an ample storage space, nice laundry area, and a nice lake or forest view from the balcony. If you select the forest view, beware of pet owners that don't scoop...the stench can be wretched in the summer :-)The management staff was very lenient with painting and decorating which is unusual in apartment living. I suspect that section 8 tenants were slowly being integrated but management never confirmed it. I suspect that the increased number of vacant apartments led to the decreased scrutiny of the tenants.

Section 8 seems to have taken over here. I've lived here for over 2 years now and I've had enough. Parking is at a premium due to others (especially the section 8 tenants but sometimes the other residents) throwing parties or inviting what seems like the entire state over. Noise is intolerable and someone is always playing their stereo entirely too loud. The front of the buildings are always blocked by large groups of people all hours of the day as are the entrances into the buildings. The overall demeanor here is shifting for the worse and there seems to be nothing we can do about it besides move to another location. There are on several occasions people loitering in the parking lot and looking around inside other cars. I personally saw three different people on three separate occasions look into three rows of cars as if they were contemplating on breaking into them. Maintenance is good on some things, while others they seem to not care about. My screen door going to my balcony has been broken since I moved in and despite my many attempts to have it repaired by maintenance it remains broken. The staff here is great, including the maintenance personnel and when I leave that will be the only thing that I miss.
