Not what they promised

We were promised the property was always quiet and very safe, that the staff would promptly handle all problems, that flooring and bad fixtures would be replaced, and that they were honest when it came to the return of the deposit. They lied. The rent was affordable and close to our jobs so we stayed until we bought a house, but they never really fixed anything properly, And the grounds looked awful. After a storm our roof was leaking and trees were down in the yard. The roof leaked until we moved and they only rmoved 1/2 of the fallen trees. There was little insulation in the walls and you could hear eveything that went on next door.

When we left they kept the majority of our deposit. We were never late on rent, we kept it clean and the only damage to the apartment was cracked blinds and a broken door handle.
They were also sued for racial discrimination during the time we lived there. There are better places to rent in the area.
