DO NOT MOVE INTO!
From: -Anonymous-Date posted: 8/21/2007
Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2007
I've lived in fox pointe for a month and I am currently reviewing my lease to see if I can get out of it early without paying an arm and a leg. It started the day I moved in. When I toured the apartments I was shown a nice apartment with new appliances and new carpet. The one I moved into has dark brown shag carpet, that before I had moved into they had dyed dark brown, WITHOUT TELLING ME THIS! This turned our feet and socks all black which had to be thrown away. The fridge in this apartment is atleast 40-50 years old and needs to be manually defrosted. The air conditioner did not work, it took them 2 weeks to replace it, the range door was broken (that too is probably over 40 years old). My doorbell currently does not work, when I reported it they said it would be a quick fix. They stopped by later that day to fix it. The maintenance man said that I would hear some noise that it was him. He cameback about a halfhour later and asked if I heard anything, I told him no. He said well its not a quick fix then, left and I havent heard anything on it for over a week now. Now my 40 year old fridge has started to leak. And last night, the entryway window was broken into and the screen is staying laying on the ground. So i definately do not feel safe here.
